Annalise’s testimony No.1

Today marks my third day in Lisbon doing my ESC project with Spin. I'm currently waiting to register at the health centre which has given me a *lot* of time to reflect, so I figure now is a good time to write down some of my first impressions. After a hectic day of travel (thank… Continue reading Annalise’s testimony No.1

Anna’s testimony NO.2

My last five months in Portugal have flown by incredibly fast. I’ve had great and not so great moments. I consider great moments to be the ones where I’ve been able to connect with like-minded people, build good relationships, find a common language with the children I work with, discover the Portuguese wilderness and cultural… Continue reading Anna’s testimony NO.2

Agnieszka’s testimony No.2

4 things I’ve learned during my volunteering in Lisbon Although I feel like I just arrived, I am already in the middle of my volunteering project. Portuguese sun and summer vibes, as well as the close distance to the ocean, makes writing this text slow and painful process. The pleasure of describing my experience seems… Continue reading Agnieszka’s testimony No.2

Miguel’s testimony No.2

Five months have passed since I started my ESC adventure in Lisbon and, truth be told, it feels as if  I have been here for longer and simultaneously just arrived. Up to this day, it has been jam-packed with experiences at my hosting organisation, within my group of friends and beyond. Even if is hard… Continue reading Miguel’s testimony No.2

Agnes’ testimony No.2

One and a half months after my ESC started, sitting behind a desk, looking out of the window I realized that I´m not a tourist. It just sunk in whilst brushing my hair. Took me a few days to get used to the feeling. After being here 3 and a half months I realized im… Continue reading Agnes’ testimony No.2

O testimunho da Irene

Um dia neste projeto parece ter 48H, uma vez que todos os dias são vividos intensamente e por diversas vezes temos de lidar com situações que nunca lidámos… Continue reading O testimunho da Irene

Mathieu’s testimony no.2

After almost 5 months here, what’s going on ? A lot of things changed here. I remember that I wrote, in my first testimony, that I was sure that I’ll find my place at Vicentix. I can now assure that I did it. Of course, it wasn’t easy at all. Again, coming to a country,… Continue reading Mathieu’s testimony no.2

O testemunho da Giulia

Estou aqui de volta! Sem dúvida aconteceram muitas coisas desde os primeiros dias de Março até agora. O tempo voou sem me aperceber. Realizaram-se algumas das minhas expectativas, como aprender mais sobre come funciona a Spin e sobre a mobilidade Europeia (em particular, a parte de envio). Estou satisfeita com a funções que estou a desempenhar… Continue reading O testemunho da Giulia

Ana’s testimony No.2

It has already been more than 4 months since I moved to Portugal. Half of my time on this project has already passed and the same amount of time is yet to come. I still feel like I have just arrived here and this is barely the beginning. There are still a lot of new things happening and many more places got on my wish list to visit.
